What is Career Key? Online career assessment tool used through the Naviance program Based on Holland’s Theory of Career Choice Research shows that personality/college majors/career matches predict success and satisfaction
Log into Naviance at https://connection.naviance.com/graniteoaks • Your username is the same as your Rocklin USD Google account • Your password is your Student ID.
Career Key Assessment • Click on the “About Me” section at the top of the page • Look for the my assessment section and click on “Career Key” • Know Yourself: • Take the Career Key assessment • Know your options: • Learn about the jobs that interest you
Career Key Results • Read traits associated with the highest score • Click on “View Careers” • Then, pick six careers from your first and second highest career options and “Save to My List”
Exploring Careers Pick one career to learn about Click the “Knowledge and Skills” tab: What are the most important skills? What are the most important abilities? What are the most important knowledge areas?
