  7. 10 Commandments • The written code of laws the Jews believe in

  8. Christianity • The religion founded by Jesus

  9. monotheistic • To believe in and worship one God 1

  10. Moses • A Jewish leader who received the 10 Commandments from God

  11. prophets • Leaders and teachers who the Jews believed were messengers from God

  12. neighbors • People who live next to you and who you are friends with

  13. enemies • People you do not like and who do not like you

  14. Paul • He spread Christianity around the Roman Empire after the death of Jesus

  15. community • A group of people who live in the same area or who live in the same way

  16. New Testament • A collection of writings about Jesus that Christians read
