2. Introduction Poolambadi village is a 5000 years old village where Dato Prakadeesh Kumar, a modest Tamil person was born. This village is very famous for many ancient important antique events. Dato Prakadeesh Kumar a true son of this village soil is doing MNC business under the trade name Plus Max, in Malaysia. Plus Max Group of Companies includes Plus Max Duty Free, Plus Max Trivandrum, Plus Max Malaysia etc. Dato Prakadeesh Kumar is the Managing Director for Plus Max group of Companies and Mr. Sundaravasan is the CEO. Good deeds rendered by Dato PrakadeeshKumar for his village When Dato Prakadeesh Kumar came for vacation to his village from Malaysia, he found the basic infrastructure of his village is very old fashioned and in very poor state. Also, his village people complained to him about the bad road conditions in the village and added that they could not reach to other places in case of emergency like pregnant ladies going to hospital, taking accident victims to the hospital etc. The people told Dato that repeated request to the Government to construct black top roads and for bus service in their village, went in vain. The villagers are so much fed up that they even wrote a petition to the concerned collector but he also turned a deaf ear. 4. Dato PrakadeeshKumar’s sorted out the issues after timely intervention Upon this situation Dato Prakadeesh Kumar directly intervened and met the Government officials for a bus service and they replied that the roads are in very bad condition and they cannot think of plying new bus routes on this village. Also he learnt that the road construction is taken care by another entity that is Highways Department. When Dato tried to contact the Highways Department and requesting them for a black top road they replied that it needs approval from the concerned MLA and then by the Minister. 5. Dato PrakadeeshKumar constructedblack top roads at his own cost Sensing the delay in Government departments, Dato met the village people and the village head and promised them that he would sort out the issues very soon. As determined Dato Prakadeesh Kumar took an amicable decision to construct roads at his own cost, rather than waiting for the Government to do, which would take many years. As promised Dato organized the road construction at his own cost during the beginning of the year 2018. He wanted to help his own villagers by constructing road and wipe out their tears. Within few months the beautiful black top road was completed and the entire village praised him with joyful tears, proclaiming that their long pending request has been achieved because of kind hearted Dato’s service. 6. After road construction Dato interceded and started new bus service in his village Dato construction and his next move was to introduce a bus service in his village which was a long pending dream for the villagers. Prakadeesh Kumar didn’t stop after completing road He met the concerned MLA and the Transport Minister and requested for a bus service immediately. Finally after several rounds of meetings, discussions and debates, the Government agreed to ply a new bus service in his village Poolambadi. 7. Inauguration function of bus service by Dato and MLA The inauguration function of bus service was planned on 13-01-2020 and was celebrated splendidly. Dato Prakadeesh Kumar waved the flag and inaugurated the first bus service from the bus stand. Local Perambalur MLA was also present for the function. In Tamilnadu 13thand 14thof January are celebrated as farmers day festival. 14thof January they prepare sweet Pongal and offer to Lord Sun for growing their crops with its sunshine. Now this 2020 it became double sweet Pongal for the villagers as they got new bus service on black top road. In an interview Dato Prakadeesh Kumar with his smiley face told that it was long pending dream of his village people of having good roads and bus service. He thanked the Almighty that he is able to fulfil the dream of his villagers. Dato also felt that it is his duty to help the people of his mother soil (village) and improve the infrastructure.
