You must hold yourselves to high expectations when you use these resources. Your time must be spent well. Google classroom will be required and used to communicate upcoming assignments. Unless I specifically say that you may have your cell phones out, you must keep them away at all times. If I see your cell phone in class, I will take it for the remainder of the class period. Late/make-up work policy The expectation is that you submit all assignments on time. If an assignment is Turned in after the due date the following percentages will be applied: 1 day late- 85% of the grade earned 2 days late- 70% of the grade earned If you are absent, it is your responsibility to follow proper procedures to ensure that you receive your work. You will have the number of missed days to make up any missing assignments. Technological issues do not excuse you from completing your work. ……………………………………………………………………………...…………….. Academic dishonesty All work that you submit must be your own work. You may not do any of the following: Turn in or copy someone else’s work. Copy someone’s work and change a few of the words. Copying words from a source without citing it and giving credit to the source. Attempt to use any notes on a closed-not assignment. Look at someone else’s work during an quiz, test, or otherwise individual assessment. If you are doing any of the above or anything else that constitutes cheating, you will receive a zero on that assignment, and you will be referred for discipline. Zeros resulting from academic dishonesty will not be allowed to be redone. • Other policies • Come prepared to class with your materials and a positive attitude. • Arrive on time.
