Organize group workcamp (NICE) for specific groups like schools, NGOs, companies, governments, etc. 539 volunteers joins 8 projects in abroad, 21 projects in Japan in 2013.
Special workcamp in disaster area We organize the 8 projects can be workcamp of groups volunteering (from a week to several months) .
Sort of the groups + Education institution : School trip with volunteering, field work for seminor + Student group : International volunteer circle's activities. + Company : CSR program, volunteering Utilize main occupation + Public institution : as an induction course, youth upbringing service education institution
Demention of group workcamp + Group could request : period, contents, place, orientation,,, + NICE will coordinate the project as - in adherence with the spirit of planning from sending side - modify the program and activities to suit hosting side's needs
Case A : Tokyo - Renovation Aims 1) To revitalizing Sumida Kyojima by renovation work throughout the tenement. 2) Sharing there experiences among Local people and participants, to initiative to launch a new angle for the problem solving Works Maintain the old building forregional activation with young people.
Case B : Iwate - Desaster area Aims 1) To interact with children in the affected areas to take care of their heart. 2) Cleaning and activation of the remaining area of the impact of the tsunami Works Visiting after school care program and organize activities for children. Crean up desaster area. Aims 1) To reconstruct Rikuzentakata by helping fisherman and farmers’ work • 2) Organizing international exchange to the children who need mental health caring effected by disaster Works • Helping the work for instauration of theprimary sector and regional activation
Case C : Fukuoka - Environment Aims 1) To preparing Bamboo festival by conservation of local mountain • 2) Listening the Local legends and make publicity matter for foreigners about appealing cultures Works • Maintain the bambooforestsand make lanterns. Hearing local legends and make maps for showing cultures
Case D : Fukui - Underpopulated area Aims 1) Standing on the field of urban agriculture, the assistant of the work carried out 2) Outgoing social issues for an increasingly elderly farmers Works Harvest of tomatoes, community awareness campaign for direct sales Aims • 1) To revitalize underpopulated area by preparing trail up to mountain and triming deserted arable land • 2) To help fixing the exhibited object at dinosaur museum and historic structures Works • Maintain the local temple. Making small rocks for the experience for fossil excavation course
Participation fee + Because of 'custom made project', we need participation fee. + It's depend on the situation of the hosting site and contents.
