Eligibility • Claimants who tell us they have been a victim of actual or threatened domestic violence • The domestic violence has to have happened within the previous 26 weeks • Meets definition of domestic violence • The claimant is not living at the same address as the abuser • No previous period of easement within the last 12 months

  3. Definition of Domestic Violence • Physical • Sexual • Psychological • Financial • Emotional • Controlling or Coercive behaviour

  4. Domestic Violence Easement • Initial 4 week easement period • Potential extension to 13 week full easement period
