Overview • 3ie created to enhance development effectiveness through evidence-based policy-making • Founding group of agencies, Foundations and NGOs • 3ie will fund studies that address enduring questions • 3ie is operating under a hosting agreement with the Global Development Network, working out of its offices in Cairo and Delhi

  3. Our program Work plan is for a budget of US$100 million in first five years, allowing 50-60 new studies each year. These studies are a combination of quick wins, large studies and evaluation design.
