Problem • People are protesting government and the protests are getting violent
Facts(Rome) • During protests Crowds would throw rocks, break windows and crowd around government buildings. • People protested against the government and against war. • Police didn’t do much at all to control protests they handed the protesters to the magistrates to be punished accordingly • Rome had occupy protests like in New York • People protested deforestation in the form of writings
Facts(current) • when protests get violent people may throw rocks(and other items),slash tires, storm buildings, burn buildings, break windows, use fire bombs and shoot roman candles • There are varying degrees of violent protests • To control protests police may use, pepper spray, tear gas(sometimes shot out of grenade launchers), arrest protesters, give out citations or shoot rubber bullets • Protests can expand all around the country like the occupy wall street protests have been to D.C., California, Wisconsin and, Illinois. • Protests sometimes start out as peaceful, but then may quickly become violent.
