Organisational performance • Field operations successfully concluded and processing resumed • Continued to deliver on our core statistical products • Established a national footprint for statistical collection • Continued to build statistical capacity • Improved statistical systems and processes • Continued to lead harmonisation of statistical development • Improved governance resulted in unqualified audits for 6 consecutive years • However, • 2011/12 was an unusual year as it was the year of the census with its inherent risks • In this year, Stats SA received a qualified audit -11- The South Africa I know, the home I understand
