  4. KONYA Konya is one of the first inhabited cities in thehistory of mankind, and still contains traces of any ancient civilisations which gives it the atmosphere of a museum city. Because of its locations in the middle of the barren Anatolian steppe, it used to be one of the most important trading centers on the Silk Road. The early permanent settlements in and around Konya go back to prehistoric times. The cultures of the Neolithic, Paleolithic ant Early Bronze Ages can be found within this period of time.The mounds within which the early settlements are buried are within the borders of Konya. The findings of the Neolithic period have been dug-out duringcatalhoyuk excavations.

  5. MEVLANA Mevlana who is also known as Rumi, was a philosopher and mystic of Islam, but not a Muslim of the orthodox type. His doctrine advocates unlimited tolerance, positive reasoning, goodness, charity and awareness through love. To him and to his disciples all religions are more or less truth. Looking with the same eye on Muslim, Jew and Christian alike, his peaceful and tolerant teaching has appealed to men of all sects and creeds.2007 was announced as the MEVLANA YEAR by UNESCO.

HİSTORY OF THE SCHOOL Our school was held in 1992 and 1999, has served up Karatay High School students.       Transfer from the high school in a dilapidated school in 1999;   Especially 2001 - 2007 in terms of education and the building has experienced major improvements in terms of construction. This is completely at the time of protectionassociation studies, and teachers through Parent-Teacher Association and is made by the cooperative.      After completing construction in 2007, largely the shortcomings in the field of schooleducation in a new breath to feel our region has increased the quality of services.
