Inspired by the Japanese tokusatsu Super Sentai series, the Power Ranger series has become one of the most popular live action superhero television series. The franchise has so far produced 24 television seasons of 20 different themed series and three full motion picture movies in 1995, 1997 and 2017.The series follows story of a team of youths who have been recruited for playing the part of superheroes of kind.

The rangers go through the rigorous training to learn the art of morphing where they become powerful superheroes. The rangers are identified by their colorful skin-tight spandex suits and helmets. Each ranger wears different color than the others. The Morphed Rangers are very powerful with enhanced strength, agility, durability and precise combat powers.

One of the important things for the rangers to remember is that they cannot use their power for personal gains. They also have to keep their identities hidden from others. The breaking of rules or disobeying can result in losing of powers.The series franchise began with the first movie Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
