This project, led by Stephen Williams at Coleg Sir Gâr, aims to help school pupils gain Key Skills at Level 1, improve cross-school learning links, and upskill school staff in Key Skills procedures. By involving Glan-y-Môr and Coedcae schools, the project integrates Coleg Sir Gâr students as mentors. The "Raise Your Game" website, funded by WAG and produced by the BBC, features celebrity testimonies on their Key Skills usage. Approximately 300 interviews can be searched by keyword, A-Z, and Key Skills categories. Schools involved include Coedcae with a Year 11 GCSE PE group (n=60) and Glan-y-Môr with a Year 10 GCSE geography group (n=26). The project focuses on coursework, logbooks, and PSE for wider Key Skills development. School staff deliver knowledge, writing assignments, and providing support for student portfolios.
