NNJHPC – HPOG – Success Story Ricardo Medy Certified Patient Care Technician Ricky, one of four children born of a Haitian immigrant and Hispanic parents who had not acquired higher education and, as a result, struggled daily for a better life. Ricky knew that he wanted to have an impact on the world and people in his chosen career. Ricky found deciding on a career path difficult, he writes “I was not the traditional college student that has his or her parent’s financial support”.
