  1. POLISH COMPOSERSPOLSCY KOMPOZYTORZY The Poland can be proud many prominent composers. We portray only few prominent representatives of various epochs in our introduction. Polska może poszczycić się wieloma wybitnymi kompozytorami. W naszej prezentacji ukazujemy tylko nielicznych wybitnych przedstawicieli różnych epok.

  2. Michał Kleofas Ogiński (1765 – 1833) Representative of the epoch of classicism. The author of unusually popular polonaise „Farewell Motherland”. Przedstawiciel epoki klasycyzmu. Autor niezwykle popularnego poloneza „Pożegnanie Ojczyzny”.

  3. Józef Elsner (1769-1854)- kompozytor, pedagog i teoretyk muzyki. Author of mass, of cantata works, of ballets, of operas, of symphonic and cosy pieces. The Frederic Chopin teacher. Autor mszy, offertoriów, utworów oratoryjno – kantatowych, baletów, oper, utworów symfonicznych i kameralnych. Nauczyciel Fryderyka Chopina.

  4. Karol Kurpiński (1785-1857)- the composer, conductor, educator the representative of late classicism. "La Varsovienne" composed to the French poet C. Delavigne text. This poet wrote the libretto of the opera Vespers Sicilian Giuseppe Verdiego, linking to Poles fight about independence consciously. Varsovian text was translated by the Charles Sienkiewicz. Song this is defined one of national Poles hymns. He is played during important military and national holidays today. kompozytor, dyrygent, pedagog przedstawiciel późnego klasycyzmu. Pieśń ta określana jest jednym z hymnów narodowych Polaków. Dziś grana jest podczas ważnych świąt wojskowych i narodowych.

U źródeł jego twórczości leżała wielka wrażliwość artystyczna oraz umiejętność czerpania wzorców z polskiej muzyki ludowej. Tworzył: polonezy, mazurki, scherza, nokturny, etiudy, ballady, sonaty, preludia.
