  2. WHO WE ARE? establishment in June 2008; legal name: Confederation of Employers of Kosovo-KPK; Registration: July 2008; expansion: throughout Kosovo Activities before the establishment. Support from DECP-Holand.

  3. ORGANIZATION OF KPK • Statute; • Assembly members; • The Presidency and • President Voluntary organization, decisions by consensus, not by over-voting!

  4. PREVIOUS AND FUTURE ACTIVITIES • in 2008 and 2009 we organized conferences; • active participation in the Council of SMEs; • have established cooperation with sister organizations: Albania, Macedonia, Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina; • conferences and training IEO ILO (Turin, Zagreb, Sarajevo, etc..) • BUSINESS-EUROPE project BOSMIP BOSMIP III and IV.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF KPK The assembly of the KPK has established the following objectives: • correct representation of the employers’ interest; • objective: Economic and Social Council; • Regular communication with employers’ organizations in the region, Europe , and World; • Respecting principles of International Labor Organization • (ILO); • honest work; • collective agreement

  6. STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES • respect the laws of Republic of Kosovo; • social dialogue; • security and access to information; • investment promotion policies; • approximation with EU laws and standards; • staff training and management for these standards.

  7. STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES • increase the competitive ability; • assisting and training for access to European funds (IPA, ASAP, CROSS BORDER, etc..) • membership in international organizations of employers, IOE, AREC, UBCCE, etc.. • professional and legal advice; • participation in counseling, forums, promotions, etc..

KPK : INDEPENDENT VOICE OF EMPLOYERS • To give power to employers’ VOICE in decision making • create an association independent from politics and other influences; • employers to be active and have an impact on domestic economic policies; • any law not to proceed in Parliament without being • discussed with stakeholders; • employers to feel, to build and to exert their strength.

  9. WHY TO JOIN US?  • solidarity to achieve common goals; • more powerful organization – more powerful voice! • More members- more independent! WHE WANT TO BE HEARD BECAUSE WHE CREATE FOR OURSELVES AND FOR OUR COUNTRY!
