  12. EEG at static 9.4T field Same subject, same stimuli, recorded under 9.4T Picked using Independent Component Analysis Auditory stimuli, recorded @ magnetic earth field in a mock scanner

  13. EEG data acquired in the 3T MR and 3T Hybrid MR-PET system • Visual ERPS measured in response to a black and white checkerboard stimulus (200 trials). • Sensory and attention related ERP components identified. • All ERPs shown at occipital electrodes (O1 and O2). • Plots are shown with negative polarity up. • 32 Channel MR-compatible EEG system (Brainproducts, Germany) with MR-compatible cap. • Correction of the gradient artifacts (Allen et al. 2003) and cardiballistic artifact (Brainvision Analyzer 2.0., EEGlab).

  18. EEG Summary • Factors remaining the same across recordings: • Amplifier • Cap • Subject • Paradigms • Factors differing across recordings: • Screen • Distance from screen • Coil • Amplifier position • Subject position • Possible things to test to improve data quality: • ICA for correction • Amplifier position in MR-PET • Cable position and securing • Electronics of MR-PET
