  3. Problem Description • A stainless steel oval tube is pressurized at high temperature and over time will creep. Only half the tube is modeled due to symmetry.

  4. Summary of Model Analysis Type: Creep analysis Large displacement / Large strains Analysis consists of 2 steps: static step creep step Material with elastic and creep model Fixed in y-direction Fixed in x-direction Pressure Temperature

Modify and Run Session File a b c d e f To run the session file that reads other files, the location specified in the session file must correspond to the actual location of the files. • Locate and open the folder containing session and other files • Open .ses file • Enter the correct location of the folder and Press Ctrl+S buttons to save the file • Click File menu / Select Session / Select Play • Select .ses file • Click Apply
