The new Parliament House will be inaugurated on 28 May. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will install a historical golden scepter named Sengol near the speaker's seat. Shah told about the heritage and history of Sengol in the press conference. It was handed over to Jawaharlal Nehru, the country's first prime minister, to mark the transfer of power from the British to the Indians.
