  3. Background Kuwait Integrated Environmental Information Network (KIEIN) was initiated since 1994. Developed baseline of Geoenvironmental DB. Developed in-house tool for environmental management. Developed capacity in GIS and environmental related issues.

  24. Conclusion & Recommendation KIEIN Geoenvironmental DB and related applications could be utilized as a baseline information dissemination tool for HIMAimitative and related issues in Kuwait. It is strongly recommended to establish a GeoenvironmentalPortal(similar to KIEIN) on the regional and international levels to share the knowledge, experience and information regarding the HIMAissue.
