A Song to Matt. Verse 1 Three years ago, he was caught with a deadly disease. He fought four times, but the fifth was his time. He was young, he was brave, but in pain no one could explain His heart couldn’t keep up and sadly it stopped. Refrain His smile was contagious. His laugh of the angels. He had a good time down here, But he’s having fun up there. Verse 2 He had big dreams, Everyone’s already seen. He knew his time was coming, Yet he wasn’t afraid. He knew where he was going, But he didn’t know so soon. Although we all miss him, He’ll always be with us. Refrain His smile was contagious. His laugh of the angels. He had a good time down here, But he’s having fun up there. Verse 3 Pray for us Matt, You’re friends and family really miss you. Say hi to God for us. We love you. Amen.
