Historical Information • Raza obtained by children of Shehzada Abdul Taiyab Bhaisaheb Zakiuddin Saheb • They would: • Oversee large part of architectural planning • Be directly involved in obtaining required permits • Give sizeable contribution to the masjid fund • Be involved in monitoring progress SF Masjid

Historical Information (continued) • Asaas laid in 1996 • Site surveys have been done • Plans drawn and signed off • (Shehzada Malik-ul-Ashtar Bhaisaheb) • Architect is Zoher Bhaisaheb Vajhiuddin • Masjid Committee had been formed • Contribution commitments had been made • Collection of funds SF Masjid

  4. City Visit • Plans had been submitted to city to obtain permission • Grandfather Clause - present day 2 acre minimum • Maximum built up allowance • Distinction made between Dawoodi Bohras and other Muslims - our local community • Existing complaints • Helpfulness of city SF Masjid

  5. Current State • Changes in variance were suggested by city • Changes are being incorporated by Zoher Bhaisaheb • Blue prints • Elevation • Landscaping / Infrastructure SF Masjid

  6. Next Step - City • Revisit city on Jan. 26th • Need letterhead with dates / times/ duration of all annual events • Permission for City Commission Hearing SF Masjid

Next Step - Jamaat • Formation of new Masjid Committee • Masjid Presentation to neighbors • 500 ft. radius - roughly 28 houses • Stressing: • Renovation / Beautification / Landscaping • Increased Property Value for all • Maximum of 100 people usage • Preparation for City Commission Hearing SF Masjid

  8. City Commission Hearing • 6 weeks after application in city • Panel includes: • Local Business owners • Fremont Chair holders • Fire Department • Neighbors summoned and asked questions • Set time and date by city • No show - it’s a go! SF Masjid
