Paper requirements – maximum of 10 bonus points – due by final • 5 pages in length, double-spaced. • Times New Roman or Courier – 12 pt • Underline – don’t boldface, change font style or color or size • Put in references only those sources you cite • Can cite lecture materials, text, assigned readings, or find other sources (assigned reading given priority). • OK to have secondary sources for this assignment.

Stylistic issues • Make every paragraph have a clear point • Avoid excessively long or short choppy paragraphs • Paraphrase rather than quote – use quotes sparingly and keep them short • Avoid statements you cannot (or do not) defend • Teach the reader – use your own words to inform the reader about your topic
