PreAP/GT Research Project • PreAP students must choose 1 of 2 topics to research and write about. • GT students must write about 2 topics of 3 to research and write about. • In 2 pages, explain your position. One page should be given for a title page and one page should be given for a sources page.All your research must be done online. Total pages: 4 pages.

PreAP/GT Research Project • Topic 1: In light of terrorism around the world and an increase in security in many places, should the U.S. and Canada keep the status quo in having unprotected borders between them? Write the President of the U.S. • Topic 2: Compare and contrast the U.S. healthcare system with the Canadian healthcare system. Would you recommend one system over the other. Why or why not? Write your congress person. • Topic 3: Identify the pros and cons of NAFTA. Should we continue this treaty or rescind it? Write your U.S. Senator.
