TPRSC Terms-of-Reference • TPRSC is proposing changes to membership guidelines: • Meetings are well attended and active friends are seeking to be added as members. • Membership is currently capped at 15 • Highlights of proposed changes: • Increase membership between 20 to 25 • Annual review of members (by TPRSC Executive) • Encourage active friends to seek membership

TPRSC: Projects in Progress • Urban Transportation Indicators 5th Survey • David Kriger Consultants • Project Budget: $195K • Status: • Phase A, Develop Indicators: Draft report has been submitted to PSC • Phase B, Survey: Anticipate survey launch by early summer 2014 • Anticipated deliverables (spring 2015): Survey Database, Reports (profile and comparison with previous UTI Surveys)
TPRSC: Projects in Progress • Design and Implementation of Transit Services: Guidelines for Small Communities • Steer, Davies, Gleave Consultants • Project Budget: $80,000 • Status: • First Project Steering Committee meeting with consultant was held April 12th, 2014 • Anticipated deliverables (spring 2015): Primer and Guidelines
TPRSC: Project Seeking Funding • Best Practices in Transportation Impact Assessment • Project approved by UTC in April, 2013 • Project Budget: $140,000 • Project purpose / objectives • To capture how new transportation requirements are being addressed in impact assessment • Review Best Practices in Canada, US, Europe and Australia • Synthesize Best Practices according to jurisdictional and development contexts
TPRSC: Project Proposal • Defining and Measuring Congestion • Urban authorities have identified a need to develop practical guidelines and standards for measuring and monitoring congestion. • Proposal is to develop: • State of Practice • Guidelines • Estimated cost: $100,000 (consultants fee only)
