Definition of its vision and mission for 2007-2009.

  9. Policy Discussion LACNIC X • Discussion about: • IPv6 assignment for End User; • Additional IPv6 Allocation; • IPv6 announcement deaggregation. • Other activities • Editorial working group to review policies text. (Unify concepts, avoid ambiguity, creation of glossary of terms, etc).

LACNIC and the Information Society in LAC Information Society • IPv6 Promotion (secretary and hosting meetings) • IPv6 task force, IPv6 Forum; • Workshops; • +Rayces • Three anycast root servers (Chile, Argentina, Venezuela). Others coming (Panama, Ecuador). • New communities being supported: • Security and IXP (to meet again during LACNIC X).
