Definitions: • Bob • The mass that swings • Length • The distance from the pivot point to the Center of the bob • Amplitude • The vertical distance pulled back from rest
Definitions: • Cycle or Vibration • One full swing, over and back • Frequency (f) • The vibrations (swings) made over a certain time. • F=cycles/time
definitions • Period of the pendulum • Time it takes for one cycle to be completed • Measured in seconds • T=time/frequency(f)
