ISC-SHRM – HRCI Update • New Seal • New Disclaimer – MUST be used with the above seal > “The use of this seal is not an endorsement by HRCI of the quality of the program. It means that this program has met HRCI’s criteria to be pre-approved for recertification credit.” • Prior to being pre-approved, the following is the only language that may be communicated: > “This program has been submitted to HRCI for review.”
ISC-SHRM – HRCI Update • To ensure timely review, be sure that the following procedures are followed: • All educational programs held in conjunction with a chapter meeting MUST be pre-approved. • Submit the program at least 4 weeks prior to the date that the pre-approval seal is needed. • Include specific learning objectives that directly tie to HRCI’s body of knowledge http://www.hrci.org/Certification/BOK. • Include an agenda with times/sessions titles for any program over 2 hours in educational time. • Refer to the SHRM Affiliate Guidebook – a revised one to be mailed to all contacts on file in March 2008.
ISC-SHRM – HRCI Update • Pre-Approved Program Resources • In 2008, HRCI will host two webcasts – one webcast specific to single program submissions and one webcast specific to submitting conferences. • In 2008, HRCI will create a template for chapters/state councils to use for their conferences to make it easier for attendees to understand the total number of hours pre-approved.
