Quickwrite: Without referring to your notes, write as many facts and opinions from your reading of chapter 2.

Opening As we will continue to see, the cooperate world does everything for a reason. Even in everyday life there is a reason or a cause for the things that we do. The reason we eat something is because we are hungry. The reason we may walk to the store instead of drive because we don’t have money for the metro. The reason we don’t eat peanuts maybe because we are allergic. For everything that we do there is a cause. This is called a CAUSE- EFFECT RELATIONSHIP.
Opening continued CAUSE is the reason something happened. EFFECT is what happens as a result
Work Session Use pp.56-59. Class Discussion—There is a reason why fast-food chains give out toys….what is that reason? Do you think it is fair that the fast food industry is using kids (you) to make their money?
