  1. Helping Communities in Need by Empowering Volunteers

  2. Who we are All Hands Volunteers is an international non-profit organization which provides hands-on assistance to survivors of natural disasters around the world By supporting volunteers with housing, meals, tools, and organised work at no charge we provide free and effective response services to communities in need

  3. Our Approach • Volunteer Aid Model • Volunteers work in the community; building relationships and finding areas of unmet need • We provide a fast and flexible, community based response • We acknowledge unmet needs and advocate for broader NGO and donor support • We offer an avenue for funds to be quickly and effectively channeled into affected communities

  4. A few of our projects Rayenda, Bangladesh (2007) Cyclone Sidr Bang Tao, Thailand (2004) Our founding project, responding to the Tsunami Gonaives, Haiti (2008) Hurricanes Biloxi, USA (2005) Hurricane Katrina Santo Domingo, Philippines (2006) Typhoon Reming Leogane, Haiti (2010) Earthquake Sungai Geringging, Indonesia (2009) Earthquake` Sawit, Indonesia (2006) Earthquake Pisco, Peru (2007) Earthquake

  5. How you can help Our work is not possible without the generous financial support of corporate sponsors and private donors. All donations to All Hands Volunteers go directly to response work in the field. Here’s an idea of what your donation will provide: $30 $300 1 wheelbarrow, enabling volunteers to remove rubble from home sites where only ruins now lie. This simple act provides families with a cleared area for transitional shelter and returns residents back to the footprint of their home, where they can begin to rebuild their lives. 15 volunteers for 1 week on project. In just 1 week, 15 volunteers contribute more than 700 hours of free assistance to the community. $600 Materials to build 1 community sanitation/latrine station--improving sanitary conditions in a situation where there is little running water. $6,000 5 earthquake-resistant transitional shelters for families in need, ensuring a dignified, secure place to call home as they rebuild in the years to come.
