  1. Greenland Melting by sample student

  2. Greenland is melting For the last 80 years Greenland's icecaps and glaciers have experienced extreme melting and receding. Due to pollution. This melting is at such a rapid pace that the sea levels will rise and if worse comes to worse death from flooding will be upon us a lot sooner than anyone expected.

  4. background During the Industrial Revolution the pollution started. Natural resources were being burnt up and slowly the Earth started to heat up. The poles (both Arctic and Antarctic) work as giant mirrors. When the sun shines down the Poles act as mirrors and reflect 90% of the heat back out to space. But as the Poles start to melt the mirror effect is less productive and the sun begins to heat the oceans. As the Earth begins to heat up more and more the sea levels will rise, natural disasters will occur, and impending death will be in escapable.

  8. Proposal I propose we spend the money scientist are given annually and spend it instead on two giant mirrors to cover the poles so that they may reflect the sun rays back into space and stop the melting of the ice caps.
