RISNER Overview • For Rhode Islanders with disabilities, chronic conditions, and other special healthcare needs • Self-identify or register your friends and family • Designed to identify individuals who MAY require special assistance during emergencies • Enrollment in the Registry does NOT GUARANTEE assistance, but allows first responders to appropriately plan for, prepare for, and respond to the needs of the community
RISNER Uses • Assists the preparedness conversation • Used by planners and responders • Ability to link with other programs/systems • E911
Registries: Whole Community Planning Communications Maintaining Health Independence Services, Support & Self Determination Transportation
