Strategies • Re-design 3rd and 4th year h.s. math courses: Introduce modules to assess/reinforce math skills needed for college. • Diagnose skills at time of college placement • Offer “fast track” course modules to improve placement • Offer “all in 1” developmental math courses (basic math, beginning algebra, and intermediate algebra) • Assess learning styles and match instruction accordingly • Form learning communities for skills in all areas
