Article 2: How Sororities Work • What are some things that surprised you about sororities? • In living in a sorority house, it gives one the benefit of not living in a dorm but in some non exclusive Greek houses, women sleep in one giant room or still have to share a bathroom, so would you be okay with that scenario or choose dorm living or a smaller Greek House? • Many sororities depicted on TV tend to exaggerate and exclude the more realistic Greek houses, such as the houses which emphasize environmental living, multicultural living, or even philanthropic living, so based on that would you been fine with the IFC council (which is the TV one) or would you like another form of sorority housing like the MCG or NPHC? • In being a sorority, women have many opportunities to benefit the future such as networking and a wonderful sisterhood, but there is still the price of having some fees, would you still want to live in a sorority?
