A sustainable future can be Achieved only if we can find ways To preserve and expand our Environmental resources.
The Earth Summit in 1992 was Just a step in the right direction. For 12 days, hundreds of Government officials worked Together to hammer out International agreements.
The Earth Summit yielded Some positive results. Agenda 21, The Biodiversity Treaty, Earth Charter, Global Warming Conventions, And the Statement on Forest Principles were all put into law.
Many other international Treaties have been passed Since then… Antarctic treaty, CITIES, Montreal Protocol, And the Kyoto Treaty Are just a few.
