Introduction/Background Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) Inc., The accreditor for college and university programs in various technology programs Wants to improve the Accreditation Report Preparation Process Before and during the visit each Program Evaluators (PEVs) prepares their reports Manual Process in Place All reports and forms are in word document format All reports and forms are hand written by Program Evaluators (PEVs) Process is time consuming PEVs have great difficulty ensuring consistency among the various reports

Solution Proposing a PC based process Developing a stand-alone system All forms can be filled out using the system All forms will follow a consistent format Certain parts of the forms will be auto-generated Recommended Accreditation Action will be determined automatically by the system Value-Added Will save time for each Evaluators Process will be faster Easy to track consistency among the various reports
