Places of work: hotels, pubs, restaurants, holiday villages, parks, and theme parks. Types of jobs: food server, hostess, bar tender, cleaner, cook/chef, just to name a few. • You will be given step-by-step instructions on how to apply for a Working Holiday Visa (Why spend hours trying to figure out how to apply when we’ve already done it for you?) • You will be provided with emergency support (so your parents won’t have to lie awake at night worrying about you) • You will be provided with assistance for a full year. Think of having a program advisor at your disposal! (“When do I need to file my taxes? Where is the best place to eat a burger? How do I buy a car here?) Only one work placement is offered and you cannot choose the position. Positions are given based on availability and work experience.

WORK + TRAVEL Ultimate (UK) ELIGIBILITY + WORKING HOLIDAY VISA TERMS AND CONDITIONS • ELIGIBILITY + WORKING HOLIDAY VISA • Don’t worry! If you do not have your Working Holiday Visa already, as soon as you book your program we will send you step-by-step instructions on how to navigate the complicated UK Working Holiday Visa Application process. • To be eligible for the program: • You must be a Canadian citizen and resident with a valid CANADIAN PASSPORT to be eligible for this program • You must be between the ages of 18 and 30 (and must not turn 31 before work permit is issued) • You must have a clear Police Record • You must have intermediate level of English • You will need a UK Working Holiday Visa –cost approx CAD $335/ GBP £200.00which is valid for 2 years (we will give you instructions of how to apply if you do not have one already) • You must have Medical Insurance for the entire duration that you are in the UK – it is mandatory (if you would like to purchase through us - we offer a great insurance policy at a low premium) • After you are accepted into the program, we will send you a Welcome Letter which will include step by step instructions on how to complete the Working Holiday Visa Application. • To be eligible for the working holiday visa: • You must be able to prove with a bank statement that you have access to approx. $3,020 CAD (£1,800 GBP) in available funds so that you can “make-do” while you are travelling and working • Have never previously entered the United Kingdom on a Working Holiday Visa • Must not have any dependent children • Cancellation, Refund and Program Change Policy • All bookings are eligible for a 50% refund if program cancellation is received by GO International, in writing, four (4) weeks before program start. • Any program cancellation within four weeks of program start are not eligible for any refund. • I understand that obtaining an applicable visa is my responsibility. • Notice for cancellation or program changes must be given in writing and emailed to programs@gointernational.ca. • GO International reserves the right to cancel any participants’ registration at GO International’s discretion. • GO International reserves the right to deny participation in any GO International program to any participant at GO International’s discretion. Note: Biometric Testing is now required to obtain the UK Working Holiday Visa. Don’t Worry! We will give you help with this after you apply. There are only 5 centres in Canada to do Biometric Testing - Edmonton, Halifax, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver. Yes, if you do not live in any of these 5 cities – you will need to travel to one of them for biometric testing.
