What is a sundial • Well a sundial is a ancient tool for telling time and it is quite accurate. When you have the correct one for the correct place. The sundial has to be changed when you are in different time zones. • There once was a sundial in Rome that told the wrong time for almost 100 years
How does a Sundial work? • A sundial works by casting a shadow on the correct time. • It uses the sun and your longitude angel to measure time.
Why are Sundials important • Sundials are not as important as they were in the roman times. • Sundials back then represented a high importance in society. • Sundials were important in American history before clocks were afford able people used sundials to tell time.
Modern day Sundials • Modern day sundials are used for decoration instead of time pieces even though they are more accurate than a digital clock because it doesn't rely on electricity.
