  2. Confronto tra due frazioni Siano date due frazioni a/b e c/d. Per confrontare le due frazioni occorre trovare due frazioni equivalenti a quelle date, tali che abbiano lo stesso denominatore. La frazione avente numeratore più grande sarà allora la frazione più grande. E’ opportuno prendere il denominatore comune più piccolo possibile.

  3. Esempio di confronto fra due frazioni Per esempio: Consideriamo 3/2 e 7/3 Il denominatore comune è 2*3=6 Frazione equivalente a 3/2 è 9/6 Frazione equivalente a 7/3 è 14/6 14/6 > 9/6 quindi 7/3 > 3/2

  4. Osserviamo che 9/6 si trova nello stesso post-it di 3/2 e 14/6 si trova nello stesso post-it di 7/3. Inoltre 14/6 > 9/6 quindi 7/3 > 3/2
