Types of CDL • There are three types of CDL classes the C class, B class, A class. • A class: can drive tractor trailers and anything in class B or C. • B Class: Trucks with passenger 16 at most and can not drive tractor trailers. Can drive C class. • C class: Any bus or vehicle used for hire to transport eight to 15 passengers.

  3. How To Get it • In order to get your CDL you need to have had you regular license for at least three years. • You need to apply for a permit take the knowledge and road test as recommended. • There is a class for class A CDL and it costs $4,500.

  4. Endorsements • Hazard • Double tractor trailer or triple • Tankers • Passenger in tractor trailer • School bus

  5. Why do I want it? • I want my CDL because I want to drive tractor trailers for a living.
