Small Credit Union Network (SCUNet) • www.pcua.org • Specially-designated section of the Association’s website with information for small credit unions, including our monthly SCUNet e-newsletter • Mentor List • Accounting Marketing Business Development • Collections Technology Financial Counseling • Lending Youth Involvement Serving Ethnic/Unique Populations • SCUNet Discounts • Education Conferences, webinars • Compliance Cavalry & Onsite Fee-Based Trainings • CUNA Council Memberships – CPD Online Training In the future…we will need to consider how people, procedures and technology integrates with RISK MANAGEMENT and REGULATORY COMPLIANCE responsibilities.

Chapters in Pennsylvania The Erie Area Credit Union Partnership • TEA CUP • Nearly a dozen (11) small credit unions • CEOs meet and discuss how to collaborate • http://www.myeriecu.com – PCUF Grant/Website • Negotiated special, lower cost newspaper ad • $200 per credit union, compared to typical $1,000 ad • Credit unions noticed increased visits, new accounts

Chapters in Pennsylvania Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Chapter of Credit Unions • Hotel meeting room space rented, larger credit unions coordinate and select “current topics” and “issues” of interest to credit unions • compliance, marketing, education and training • Guest speaker/trainer invited • All small credit unions invited, cost-effective way to offer information and training

Chapters in Pennsylvania Altoona Chapter of Credit Unions • One larger credit union purchased CPD Online training and education tool from CUNA • Large credit union then conducts Chapter meetings and invites area small credit unions to its facility to participate in the training modules for the smaller credit union staff • Cost-effective way to offer information and training

Chapters in Pennsylvania • Philadelphia Chapter – SCUNet Collaboration Corner • 20 officials from seven of Philadelphia’s small credit unions gathered at The Triumph Baptist Church Thursday evening, November 29th, for Director Financial Literacy Training. • A potluck dinner provided by Mid-Atlantic Corporate FCU and the credit unions preceded the event. Special thanks to Mid-Atlantic’s Corporate Account Manager Deb Cohn, The Triumph Baptist FCU’s CEO Sharon Saulters, Service Center for Credit Unions President Joni Brown and NCUA Economic Development Specialist, Dominic Carullo, for coordinating the successful evening of camaraderie and learning.
