What is “Lesson study”? • “Lesson study” is a method of teacher training to improve teaching ability in collaboration of teachers. • “Lesson study” has 3 steps in activity 1. Plan 2. Do 3. See • Repeat these 3 steps

Problems in Indonesia • Teacher and children rely on textbook and LKS • Discovery and exploration are not enough in lesson • Teaching based on memorization • Pattern of LS is fixed such as group discussion and presentation • Less know-how of board writing and note taking • Gap between open lesson and usual lesson (Group activity,experiment, measurement, Mathematical activity)
