Set Up: Two students hold a loop of elastic around their spread legs.
Playing: There are 10 different phases. If a student correctly completes a phase, she can move to the next phase. If she makes a mistake, it is the next student’s turn. If the student completes all 10 phases, she starts again, but the elastic is moved up. Round1: Ankles Round 2: Lower Leg Round 3: Above the knee
1 Start End Phase 1 Step on the rope closest to you with your right foot.
2 1 Start End Phase 2 Step on the rope closest to you with your right foot then your left foot.
End 3 2 1 Start Phase 3 Step on the rope closest to you with your right then left foot. Then step on the next rope with your right foot. You are now standing on the other side of the ropes.
Start 1 2 3 4 End Phase 4 Step on the rope closest to you with your right then left foot. Then step on the next rope with your right then left foot. You are now standing on the other side of the ropes.
2 4 1 3 5 Start End Phase 5 Jump between the ropes 5 times. One foot will always be in the middle of the two ropes, the other will be outside. With each jump, switch which foot is in the middle.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 2 1 Start End Phase 6 Use your foot to cross the rope closest to you over the far rope. Set your foot down, count to 6, then release the rope.
8 1 2 4 6 3 5 7 1 2 4 6 3 5 7 Start End 8 Phase 7 Cross the rope closest to you over the far rope and spread your feet so you are standing in the middle. Turn around 7 times then jump so your feet move from the middle to the outside of the ropes.
1 3 5 7 2 4 6 8 Start End Phase 8 Hop on one foot and cross the rope closest to you over the far rope. Hop to change feet and move over to the other side. Do this a total of 8 times.
End 9 1 3 5 7 8 2 4 6 Start Phase 9 Jump on the rope farthest from you so that one foot is above the rope and the other foot is under. Turn around and repeat. Jump on the rope a total of 9 times.
Start End 1 2 3 Phase 10 Stand on one side of the rope. Move one foot to go between the ropes then to the other side of the ropes, WITHOUT touching the rope.
