  2. Adhesion (ad-hee-zhugh’n) noun,when water sticks to an object and not itself. • The water is sticking to the sinks surface.

  3. Capillary actions (cap-u-lary) noun, water rising in tubes or exiting tubes. • Water escapes through tubes and rises in tubes.

  4. Cohesion ( koh-hee-zhuh’n) noun, when water sticks to itself. • When there is a little puddle of water on the sink and it gets bigger.

  5. Hydrogen bond (hi-dro-gen) nouna type of bond used to stick to other water molecules. It is easily done, but can easily be broken • The water on the sink is everywhere.

  6. Polarity (poh-lar-i-tee) nounwater molecules have two opposite sides that feel uneven unless they bond with other water molecules. • Water is sticking to itself because it feels unbalanced creating a flood.
