Capillary Action • Capillary Action- The impulse of a liquid to rise in narrow tubes or to be attracted into tiny openings • Gardening- Water is transported up the roots of a plant through capillary action • Part of Speech- Noun • Pronunciation-kap-uh-ler-eeak-shuhn
Cohesion • Cohesion- Water attaching to water • Gardening- When the watering can is being filled up then the water that is coming down is sticking to the water that is already in there • Part of Speech- Noun • Pronunciation- koh-hee-zhuhn
Hydrogen Bond • Hydrogen Bond- Forming these bonds are not difficult and the bonds are frail. • Gardening- Keeps the water together so that it is available to the plants to absorb • Part of Speech- Noun • Pronunciation-hahy-druh-juhn

Water Cycle • Water Cycle- the circulation of the earth’s water • Gardening- The plants take in water and give off moisture during photosynthesis.
