  5. Summary of Plot • Tish Booner needs to write a journal for her English class. Telling about what's going on in her life. But it gets worse as she goes on.

  6. Theme • Family drama • Text Evidence 1page 51: dad was throwing things at mom while she was crouching in the corner. • Text Evidence 2page 53: Tish takes Matt to her room and calls the caseworker. • Text Evidence 3page 127: Tish and Matt have to live with their grandparents.
