Why such a call for proposals? • - To promote the participation of partners from the NAS to project consortia • - To raise awareness of the programme “Quality of life and management of living resources” • - To better link NAS to the EU Member States and vice versa • - To support and develop more efficient means of co- operation with NAS
What are the NAS? • - Bulgaria, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia
Specific conditions- Proposals for partnership extension should be submitted by the co-ordinator, acting on behalf of all the existing participants in the project, together with the new participant from the NAS
Specific conditions - The duration of the existing contract should be such that an extension to partners from NAS is useful - Proposals can be submitted for all QoL activities - But only forRTD projects, demonstration projects, combined RTD/demonstration projects, concerted actions and thematic networks
Specific conditions - Extension will only concern the integration of new participants from the NAS - Support will only be considered for the extension of existing QoL contracts - The additional participants should clearly add value to the existing projects
