13.05.2011 Today’s journey to England was very tiring and long. We arrived to Pilton College in Barnstaple just around 2.23 pm English time, where our partners waited for us. My partner’s family was very nice. I hope they liked me. It’s only 7 pm and I’m in bed. I went to sleep , because I was very tired.
14.05.2011 We were in Bath today. It is very beautiful town. First, we rode special bus for 50 minutes, and we stopped for to admire the scenery and buildings. We saw the Roman Thermes, too. This day was very tiring, but I don’t regret it. We came back about 7.15pm and we went homes.
15.05.2011 Today we had a day with families. I woke up at 9 am, I had a breakfast, and at 11 am we rode to the beach where we met Mateusz, Klaudia, Karolina, Roksana and Agnieszka with their partners. Scenery was amazing- the Atlantic Ocean and rocks. It was very windy and cold, but water was warm. We played rounders and volleyball. The rounders are almost like our ‘palant’. Next, I came back home, and I had a dinner with my family, and after dinner we rode to another beach. I saw wild horses and Appledore Sails. I had a great time
16.05.2011 Today we were in Lynmouth and Lynton. We went through the Watersmeet where we saw waterfalls and a heron. Next, we had a free time in Lynmouth and we went up to Lynton by cable-railway. We had lunch in the Volley of Rocks, and later we had a tea in ‘Mother Meldrums Tea Rooms’. About 3pm we came back to Barnstaple. It was very tiring day, but I had a great time.
17.05.2011 This day we spent at school. We learnt dance and it was cool. We danced a ‘robot dance’. Next, Polish students played handball and cricket with English students. Next, we had classes in I.T. classroom and we looked for information concerning British traditions. Later, we went on tour with a guide in Barnstaple and we had a free time on High Street. About 4.30pm our partners collected us and we went to the school for EURO DINNER at Chaddies. English food was delicious. When we finished eating, English students sang ‘Someone like you’, and Polish students sang ‘Stokrotka’.
18.05.2011 Today we were in Clovelly and Tintagel. Clovelly is a small town with a lot of small stones. We went through slippery and narrow streets. Next, we went to Tintagel Castle where we had lunch. Later, we had a free time, and at 4.30pm we came back at Pilton. After dinner I went bowling with my family. It was great !
19.05.2011 Today we were at Devon County Show in Exeter with our partners. We had a lot of free time, and we were moving in groups. I was in group with Mateusz, Agnieszka, Ewa and Szymon. We saw a lot of animals like cows, pigs, birds, sheep, horses, and we were in amusement park, too. We came back at 5pm. I had a great time, but I was tired.
20.05.2011 We were on a trip in Exeter, again. We saw the Cathedral, and other things. Later we had a free time and we went shopping . We came back at 5pm. It was very long day
21.05.2011 Today we had a day with families. In the morning my partner - Sophie, Roksana’s partner- Martha, Roksana and I were at the pool, and later we went to the museum. When we were on High Street, we met Klaudia, Mateusz, Agnieszka, Karolina and their partners, and we went to PRIMARK and KFC. Next, Sophie, I and family went on trip to the beach. The beach was amazing. When we came back, I had to pack up. I went to sleep, because I had to wake up at 1am.
22.05.2011 Today we came back to Poland. I woke up at 1am, had breakfast, watched TV with Sophie and at 1.20am left home with Sophie’s dad. At 10.35am we were in Cracow, and we rode to Kromołów where our parents collected us at 2pm. I had a great time in England, and I miss my English family.
