5. The main objective of ENSIE activities is to strengthen the representation, maintenance and development within the European Union of networks and federations of Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs) in order to contribute to opening up opportunities for all men and women to exercise their rightful claim to participate in social life and have a job or attend a training program. • L’objectif principal des activités d’ENSIE est de renforcer la représentation, le maintien et le développement de réseaux et fédérations d’entreprises sociales d’insertion dans l’Union Européenne afin de contribuer à la création d’opportunités pour tous les hommes et femmes d’exercer leur droit à participer à la société et à exercer un travail ou à suivre un programme de formation ENSIE - supported by the European Union Program of Employment and Social Solidarity

6. Representation, support and development of WISEs and WISEs networks among EU to favour the integration of disadvantaged groups on the labour market • Support, councelling and information to EU Institutions in a bottom-up approach to create a favourable climate for WISEs: from access to finance to the regulatory framework including the partnership • At European level ENSIE wants to continue working with the European Commission, interested directorates and committees (SPC, EMCO), and wants to start to work with the European Council and the European Parliament, interested committees. • Représentation, soutien et développement des ESI et des réseaux d’ESI dans l’UE pour favoriser l’insertion des personnes défavorisées sur le marché du travail • Soutien, conseil et information aux institutions EU via une approche bottom-up afin de créer un environnement favorable pour les ESI: de l’accès au financement au cadre législatif en passant par le partenariat. • Au niveaueuropéen, ENSIE veut continuer àtravailler avec les directions et comités (SPC, EMCO) pertinents de la Commission Européenne et veutdébuter son travail avec le Conseil et les comitésintéressants du Parlementeuropéen. 7. At national level ENSIE wants to work in a strong and fruitful cooperation with its members in order to help in the implementation of the main political EU driven processes. • In some Member States ENSIE and its members act in order to contribute to national social and employment policies targeted to vulnerable groups. • In some other Member States, where the WISEs are not developed and supported, ENSIE and its members want to start the construction of a legislative framework adapted to WISEs. • Au niveau national, ENSIE désiretravailler en coopérationétroite et fructueuse avec sesmembresafin de les aider dans la mise en application des principauxprocessuspolitiquesguidés par l’Europe. • Dans certains Etats membres, ENSIE et ses membres agissent afin de contribuer aux politiques sociales et d’emploi nationales envers les groupes défavorisés; • Dans d’autres, où les entreprises sociales d’insertion ne sont pas développées ou soutenues, ENSIE et ses membres veulent démarrer la construction de cadres législatifs adaptés aux ESI. 8. Using the exchange of good practices and calculating, through a European common software, the concrete social and economic impact of work integration social enterprises ENSIE and its members want to contribute to better policies, at all levels: from the local to the European. • ENSIE represents networks, enterprises but also workers: ENSIE wants to maintain a big attention on the disadvantaged workers, working in projects that improve their living conditions. • En utilisant l’échange de bonnes pratiques et en calculant via un programme commun, l’impact social et économique des ESI, ENSIE et ses membres veulent contribuer à de meilleures politiques à tous les niveaux, du local au niveau européen. • ENSIE représente des réseaux, des entreprises mais aussi des travailleurs: ENSIE désire maintenir une attention particulière aux groupes défavorisés en travaillant sur des projets visant l’amélioration de leurs conditions de vie.
