Trackpoint Driver Setup Beacon 1 • Driver: TRACKPOINT.DLL • Connect: COM Port with Trackpoint feed. • Setup: • Select Beacon number to track • Click ‘Multiple Target Server’. • This loads information on other beacons into shared memory so other instances of the TRACKPOINT driver can read them. • Offsets: • Enter offset from boat origin to ship-mounted transponder

  4. Trackpoint Driver Setup Beacon 2, 3, 4, … • Driver: TRACKPOINT.DLL • Connect: • None. It’s going to read info over the shared memory area. • Setup: • Select Beacon number to track • Offsets: • Enter offset from boat origin to ship-mounted transponder

  5. Trackpoint Beacons in SURVEY • Open ‘Sample Special Survey 2004’ project. • Start HARDWARE. • Click ‘File – Open Configuration’ • Select ‘TRACKPOINT.INI.’ • Close HARDWARE. • Start SURVEY.
