  4. TREASURER’S REPORT – Katie DeRosia BANK BALANCES AS OF 1-14-14 ARE AS FOLLOWS: • CHECKING: $40,924.22 INCOME: Booster Club: $1,601.45 (This is for the month of Nov and Dec.) Fundraiser Fuss Free: $78.61 (This is for the month of Dec) Cookie Dough Sales: $1,309.59 Spirit Night: $373.80 Class T Shirts: $24 Hospitality Donations: $85.00 Total Income(11/01.13 – 12/31/13): $3,602.45 EXPENSES Class T-shirts: $648.70 School Store: $142.00 Cookie Dough: $12,261.40 Taxes: $936.66 Mini Grants: $9,667.64 Office Supplies: $27.98 Grade Level Awards: $229.04 Total Expenses(11/01/13 – 12/31/13):$25,020.48 Hospitality: $413.70 Specialist Awards: $200.00 Challenge Lab: $493.36 LTE General PTA Meeting

  5. TREASURER’S REPORT – Katie DeRosia • 990 EZ tax form was filed for tax year July 1, 2012-June 30, 2013. • MINIGRANTS: All have been paid and we received many very nice Thank You notes from the LTE Teachers and Staff for them. OPERATING BUDGET IS APPROX $66,500. LTE General PTA Meeting

REPORT OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD- Melissa Nelson, President • Executive Board met on November 19th, with quorum present. • We will have several openings on the PTA Executive Board next year, mainly due to the rezoning within our district. Please consider becoming involved. • Positions Include: President, Hospitality, Communications, Treasurer, and Carnival Chair LTE General PTA Meeting

  7. Report of Vice President, Membership- Lara Anton • 2013-2014 Membership Drive Totals: • Total Members: 355 • Faculty/Staff Members: 100% Faculty, 85% Staff • Membership Cards have been distributed. Contact Lara if you did not get one. LTE General PTA Meeting

Spring Carnival and Silent Auction- Mondie McFaddin, Chair • Carnival – Saturday, April 12th • VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! • Sponsorship packets are available – Julie Ferguson (online also) • Silent Auction packets are available • Looking for Carnival Committee Volunteers Now!! • Participating in the LTE Carnival as a sponsor or by donating an item for the silent auction is a great way to support our school!   9. REPORT OF VICE PRESIDENT, FUNDRAISING- Linda Briscoe • Cookie Dough Sales – Cara Cooper, Chair • Thanks to everyone who participated. Right now we are at $8,800.00 for LTE. Remember that the online fundraiser is open through the end of the school year!! • Box Tops, Randall’s, etc.. – Lisa Berneburg, Chair • LTE received $762.50 from our first batch. WOW!! • Keep turning in the Box Tops! Next deadline is Feb 21st . • Please help Lisa (and her helpers) by cutting on the line!! LTE General PTA Meeting

REPORT OF VICE PRESIDENT, FUNDRAISING- Linda Briscoe • Fuss Free – Linda Briscoe • Rock Star Sponsor • Any fuss free donation over $100 during the school year. • 100% of your donation goes to LTE. • You will receive a car decal and recognition. • Tax deductible. • Fuss free donations are accepted in any amount all year. Thank you to those who gave Fuss Free donations during the Cookie Dough Drive!! • P Terry’s Spirit Night Tonight!!! Head on over after the performance. 10% of all sales are given to LTE LTE General PTA Meeting

Thanks to everyone who brought a baked item. • “Friday Feast” will be January 31stand is hosted by third grade.   15. REPORT OF STANDING COMMITTEES • Squire Booster Club – Ferree Rhodes • LTE Spiritwear – Blowout sale during Science Fair night, Jan. 28th. All hoodies, long sleeve and short sleeve shirts will be on sale!! Look for the PTA table. • School Store – Constanze Heitkoetter, chair - Open every other Friday during the lunch hours, 11am-1pm! Contact Constanze, if you are interested in working at the school store each Friday! Open Jan. 17th and 31st • Fridays are SPIRIT DAYS at LTE!! Wear your LTE shirts to show your school pride! LTE spirit wear t-shirts are still available in the school store. LTE General PTA Meeting

  16. News From Around the District • Hudson Bend Middle School will be hosting a “Principal’s Coffee” on Wed. Jan. 22nd from 9:00-10:00 am. This meeting is for incoming 5th grade parents & families who are transferring to HBMS. Please help spread the word!! LTE General PTA Meeting
